Command God

Command God

"Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me." Isaiah 45:11

Yesterday, I shared a message that has been hidden in my heart for years.  It is one of those life transforming words.  Yesterday the Holy Spirit said it was time to share it.  However, I left out one important example.

Let's hearken back to the message that I shared yesterday (11/21/2020).  Click on this link to hear this encouraging and timely message that I believe could literally change your life, from today forward.

Still, I would like to present a point that I overlooked from yesterday’s message.  The message is entitled, “Command GOD”.  And while some may shrink at the thought of being able to command God, YHVH, to do anything, I lay out with specificity the manner in which we may be able to do so.

It is quite intriguing that we have such opportunity, In the light of an all-powerful Elohim.  If you will indulge me, this point will make it a little clearer.

Anyone with children (or a parent), can relate to the following scenario…

Have you ever made a promise to a child that you would do something for them, (i.e. take them to the zoo, playground, ice cream cone, or movie), if they would just finish a chore or task (i.e., do their homework or clean their room).

The promised hour or day comes, but you realize that there are many other things needing your attention (i.e., work or your own chores around the house) and lo and behold, here comes the child,

“Good morning, (Mom/Dad, aunt, uncle, etc.), when are we leaving for the zoo?”
You: “Oh, my child, there are just too many things to do around the house today (or I have to work, etc.).”

And here comes the revelation:

“Wait!”, says your child.  “You said yesterday that IF I cleaned my room then we would go to the zoo today!”

What you just witnessed is a child putting a responsibility upon his/her adult (parent, aunt, uncle, etc.) by reminding them about their promise!   And so, it is also appropriate with our Abba.  In this way we can take His word and His promises and say,

“YOU SAID! And I believe you!  Now, are You going to go back on Your word?”

It's a simple story, I know, but none-the-less, it holds a great truth!

Now, as I said before, click on the link and enjoy the revelation on how to properly command your morning, every day of your life.

There is a central debate between Christians and Messianics.  It revolves around whether or not we are under the law.  As we are counting down the weeks to Shavuot (Pentecost), I thought it would be appropriate to share this nugget about the Holy Spirit.  You can agree or disagree with this, but regardless of which side of the fence you fall on, this is a truth you will not be able to ignore and it will challenge your interpretations of the New Testament.

How to comfort God

(5 minute read)  Earlier this week I had a spiritual encounter.  I woke up at 3:29 am with horrible images and sounds flooding my mind. I asked myself, why are these things in my head? And I...

(2 min read).

When I was a teenager, my younger brother, Rob, found this little sparrow in the grass one spring morning. We had a thunderstorm the night before and this young fledgling sparrow must have been knocked out of the nest.

We searched the trees for a nest, but found none. So, of course, we took her in and did our best to raise her.

When she was fully mended and able to fly we set her cage...
