There is a story in three of the gospels in which Yeshua extends an invitation to a young man to follow him. Wow! What an honor to be asked by the very son of YHVH to be His disciple.
The dilemma I have is the fact that this young man was very prosperous and was asked by Yeshua to leave all and follow Him. Once again, I have found a hidden truth that was before my eyes all the time, and was just now revealed. I cannot tell you the countless times I have heard sermons preached on these passages and never comprehended exactly what was taking place.
Question, do you recognize your season of wrestling? Do you understand that it has been a test the whole time – of your endurance, of your strength, of your tenacity, of your full-doggedness if you will? This test of wills is for our example, to let us know that the Lord watches to see if we will persist, if we will press on, if we will simply not give up until we receive His promise.
Will you be one who gives in this wrestling season that you are in right now?
A couple of years ago, following a wonderful Sabbath service I received a beautiful revelation regarding the mercy seat in the Holy of Holies. The depth of this message was profound. The implications of the message continues to reverberate deep within my spirit man. I say deep because the Holy of Holies was the deepest spiritual place on the face of the earth in the Temple time.
This message centered on the elements that were on top of the Arc of the Covenant.
There wasn't much special about our little group of believers. In fact, our common bond was that we were quite the band of misfits (if I can say that with all the love I have in my heart). We didn't seem to quite fit anywhere, yet YHVH saw fit to call us into deeper relationship with Him.
